Effective Date: 5/3/2026
Men’s Signature Grooming Studio (“MSGS,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) may photograph or otherwise document certain appointments for service-related purposes, including consultation reference, treatment planning, progress tracking, before-and-after comparison, quality control, and internal client recordkeeping.
This Photo & Media Policy explains how those images may be taken, stored, and used.
1. Service Documentation
As part of the consultation and service process, MSGS may take photographs or videos of the client’s hair, scalp, hairline, and service results before, during, and after the appointment.
These images may be used for:
consultation reference,
service planning,
documenting starting condition,
documenting progress or results,
internal quality review,
and maintaining client service records.
2. Marketing and Promotional Use
Some client images may also be valuable for portfolio, educational, branding, marketing, or advertising purposes, including before-and-after examples.
However, not all images will be used publicly.
MSGS will only use a client’s image, likeness, service photos, or related media for public-facing marketing or promotional purposes if the client has given permission through a separate Photo Release & Authorization.
3. Public Use May Include
If authorized by the client, approved images may be used in:
website content,
social media,
digital advertising,
printed marketing materials,
promotional brochures,
portfolio displays,
presentation materials,
educational or informational studio content,
and other business marketing channels used by MSGS.
4. Client Choice
Clients are not required to authorize public marketing use of their images in order to receive services.
A client may allow photography for internal service documentation while declining public marketing use.
5. No Guarantee of Use
Granting permission does not guarantee that any photo or video will actually be used in marketing or advertising.
MSGS may decide, in its sole discretion, whether any image is appropriate, useful, or necessary for public use.
6. Storage and Protection
Client images maintained for service or business purposes will be stored as part of studio records using the business systems and processes selected by MSGS.
While MSGS takes reasonable steps to protect client information and records, no system can be guaranteed to be completely immune from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
7. Revocation of Marketing Permission
If a client has previously authorized public marketing use and later wants to withdraw that permission, the client must submit the request in writing to MSGS.
Any revocation will apply on a going-forward basis only. It will not require MSGS to recall, remove, or destroy materials that were already printed, published, posted, distributed, scheduled, produced, or otherwise used before the revocation request was received and processed.
8. No Compensation
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, clients will not receive payment, royalties, or other compensation for the use of authorized photos, videos, or media.
9. Policy Acknowledgment
By proceeding with a consultation or service, the client acknowledges that MSGS may photograph the service for internal documentation and recordkeeping purposes, subject to this policy. Public marketing or advertising use requires separate client authorization.
