Effective Date: August 8, 2026

Men’s Signature Grooming Studio (“MSGS,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) may photograph or otherwise document certain appointments for service-related purposes, including Strategy Session reference, service planning, progress tracking, before-and-after comparison, quality review, maintenance planning, and internal client recordkeeping.

This Photo & Media Policy explains how those images may be taken, stored, and used.

1. Internal Service Documentation

With the client’s acknowledgment and consent, MSGS may take photographs or video of the client’s hair, scalp, hairline, hair system, and service results before, during, or after an appointment.

Internal service-documentation images may be used for:

  • Strategy Session or consultation reference

  • service planning

  • documenting starting condition

  • before-and-after comparison

  • progress tracking

  • quality review

  • maintenance or replacement planning

  • client recordkeeping

Internal service-documentation images are not automatically authorized for public marketing use.

2. Marketing and Promotional Use

MSGS will not use a client’s image, likeness, photographs, video, service results, or related media for public-facing marketing, advertising, portfolio, educational, promotional, website, or social-media purposes unless the client has provided separate authorization for marketing use.

Marketing authorization is separate from consent for internal service documentation.

3. Public Use May Include

When specifically authorized by the client, approved photographs or video may be used in:

  • MSGS website content

  • social media

  • Google Business Profile

  • digital advertising

  • printed marketing materials

  • promotional materials

  • portfolio displays

  • presentations

  • educational or informational content

  • other MSGS-owned or authorized marketing channels

MSGS may crop, resize, format, caption, or otherwise prepare authorized media for publication, provided the use remains consistent with the authorization granted.

4. Client Choice

Clients are not required to authorize public marketing use of their images in order to receive MSGS services.

A client may consent to internal service-documentation photography while declining public marketing use.

Declining marketing consent will not affect eligibility for services. Internal service-documentation photography is addressed separately through the MSGS Photo & Media Policy Acknowledgment.

5. No Guarantee of Use

Granting marketing authorization does not guarantee that any photograph or video will be used.

MSGS may determine whether authorized media is appropriate, useful, or necessary for public use.

6. Storage and Protection

Client images maintained for service, documentation, or authorized business purposes may be stored within the business systems and service providers selected by MSGS.

MSGS takes reasonable measures to protect client information, records, and media. However, no electronic or physical storage system can guarantee absolute security against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

Client information and media are also subject to the MSGS Privacy Policy.

7. Revocation of Marketing Authorization

A client who previously authorized public marketing use may request withdrawal of that authorization in writing.

Revocation applies prospectively after MSGS receives and processes the request.

Revocation does not require MSGS to recall, destroy, or remove materials that were already printed, distributed, published, produced, or otherwise placed beyond MSGS’s reasonable control before the request was processed.

Where reasonably possible, MSGS will discontinue future use of the affected media.

8. No Compensation

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, clients will not receive payment, royalties, compensation, or ownership rights related to MSGS’s authorized use of photographs, video, likeness, or other media.

9. Separate Consent and Authorization

MSGS distinguishes between two types of media permission:

Internal Service Documentation
The client acknowledges and consents to photographs or video used for service-related documentation, planning, comparison, quality review, maintenance planning, and client recordkeeping.

Public Marketing Use
The client separately chooses whether to authorize approved photographs or video for marketing, advertising, portfolio, website, social-media, educational, or promotional use.

Consent to one does not automatically constitute consent to the other.

10. Policy Acknowledgment

Internal service-documentation photography is documented through the applicable MSGS intake, acknowledgment, or service form.

Public marketing or advertising use requires separate affirmative authorization from the client.
